Use custom domain
With any of the three plans, if you have your own domain, you can use it on your Kweb website.
The process is simple and fast. To point your domain, go to the private area of your project and access the Settings section. On the first screen, you will find Connect your own domain.
To correctly point your domain to our hosting, you need to make changes to your domain's DNS records. A records are responsible for linking a domain to a specific IP address.
- Access your domain provider’s control panel.
- Look for the DNS management or record configuration section.
- Find the A records with the values '@' and 'www'.
- Edit these records and change the IP address to: 62.151.178.137.
- Save the changes made.
It’s important to note that these changes may take some time to propagate across the Internet, so it may take several hours or even days before the domain starts pointing correctly to our hosting. Once these steps are completed, your domain will be correctly configured to work with our hosting service.
After your domain successfully points to our server, our application will automatically issue an HTTPS certificate, ensuring secure communication between your website visitors and our hosting environment.
Free SSL Certificate
As soon as you point your domain to our server, a SSL certificate is automatically generated at no extra cost.
SSL is essential because it ensures that the communication between your website and visitors is secure and encrypted. It protects sensitive data such as passwords, contact information, or payment details, builds user trust, and improves your website’s ranking in search engines.
